The gratin dauphinois has been my favorite dish since I was a little girl, and it comes from my region of origin!

Recipe steps

  1. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into thin rings (5mm)
  2. Cut the garlic into 4, removing the germ
  3. In a saucepan, add the milk, water, garlic, salt, and dip the potatoes
  4. After boiling, cook for about 5 minutes
  5. Preheat the oven to 210 ° C
  6. Drain the potatoes (remember to remove the pieces of garlic) and place them in a dish.
    Cover with cream, salt and pepper
  7. Bake at 180 ° C for 2h
  8. Taste!
